Dr. Deutsch is a Board-certified Pulmonologist and critical care physician who has practiced in Alameda since 1980. A graduate of New York State University College of Medicine, Dr. Deutsch has held numerous leadership positions at Alameda Hospital, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Hospital, Board of Directors of the District, and President of the Medical Staff. He is a past recipient of the Alameda Hospital Kate Creedon Award for Health Care Provider of the Year. He lives with his wife in Alameda and is the proud parent of two and grandfather of two.
