The Creedon Wound Care Center, named after Kate Creedon, RN, the nurse who founded Alameda Hospital, provides care for wounds that are chronic or slow to heal.  The interdisciplinary group of professionals who staff the center treats wounds of all kinds – from diabetes, sickle cell disease, skin conditions, burns, tumors, and more.  The staff is highly trained in the specialized care of problem wounds, using the latest clinical tools and evidence-based practice of wound care.  The Center also offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy among its advanced treatment modalities.
